Mozilla 1.4 Beta
Mozilla 1.4 Beta was released on Wednesday. In this version, users no longer have to have the same action occur when they first start Navigator, open a new window or open a new tab; they can now separately specify whether a blank page, their home page or the last page visited opens in each case. Also new is the ability to set the default font, size and color to use when composing HTML messages and Mail & Newsgroups now also supports CRAM-MD5 authentication. In addition, the 'Launch File' button in the download dialogue or Download Manager now works after downloading an executable, proxy auto-config failover has been implemented and Mozilla can now be built using GCC on Windows.
Mozilla 1.3.1
Mozilla 1.3.1 was also released this week. This updated version of 1.3 has support for XPInstall on Mac OS X and also features some security bug fixes.
Mozilla Firebird
Nightly builds of Mozilla Firebird for Mac OS X are now available from ftp.mozilla.org.
Mozilla Thunderbird
The first nightly build of Mozilla Thunderbird for Linux since the project moved back to the trunk is now available.
Mozilla Composer
Daniel Glazman has posted a weblog entry outlining his proposed plans for the future of Composer.
Junk Mail Controls
Junk Mail Controls no longer automatically analyze public IMAP, Unsent Messages, Drafts, Templates or Sent folders (bug 204807).
Full Screen Mode
Full Screen mode now functions on the secondary display of multi-monitor systems (bug 127575).
Automatic Image Resizing
Automatic image resizing now uses custom magnifying glass pointers on Mac OS X (bug 189719).

The trunk is now frozen for Mozilla 1.4. Check tinderbox for the latest status.
