Submitted by Mitchell Baker <mitchell@mozilla.org>
  • 0.9.4 is out. We're looking for feedback on the Quick Launch feature. If you've got thoughts on this, please participate in the poll at www.mozillazine.org.
  • Website reorganization. We've long wanted to reorganize and improve www.mozilla.org. We're looking at using the Zope content management system to do so. An initial testsite is here.
  • Tools. bugzilla.mozilla.org has been updated to the tip again. Our installation now supports tracking attachments as well as bugs. Work continues on implementing the ability to track requests as well (code review requests, super-review requests); see bug 98801.
  • We're working on developing better database of info regarding module owners. Currently onducting a survey, asking people to identify which code they think they "own." The survey tool is located here. Once we've got better data, we'll use it to clean up the badly outdated owners.html page.
  • Working on getting peterjez's automated smoketests checked into CVS and increasing community participation in their use.
  • Mitchell's role with mozilla.org has shifted somewhat, but not ended. More info here.
