Kinput2 Key Usage (without re-mapping) for Wnn4

The following shows what various key uses are for kinput2 Unix IME Front End for Wnn4. This show what you can do with the keyboards without any remapping. (This is very similar to how uum key operations work for Wnn4).
 

There are 3 modes of operation for kinput2:

Input mode -- as each character is entered, you are in Input mode.
Conversion mode -- as your press C + w (or the Space Bar), you're in Conversion mode.
Selection mode -- when you press C + w the 2nd time, you are in Selection mode and are presented with choices for conversion

Note: The same key combinations may represent different actions depending on the mode.

( "C +  " means pressing the CONTROL (CTRL) key and another key as the same time.)

Shift + Space Bar        toggle between Japanese (Kana) and ASCII input mode
CapLock                    Half-width Uppercase Roman input in Japanese (Kana) mode.

C + \                           turn off the Japanese input mode

<Once you are in the Japanese Input mode -- use the following.>

q                                 temporarily switch to ASCII mode (half-width Roman characters)
C + g                          back to Japanese input mode

C + w                         start conversion to Kanji // also bring up more a candidate selection window with known choices if pressed the 2nd time
Space Bar                   start conversion and list each conversion candidate in order but without bringing up the candidate window
C + c                           Cancel conversion (which ahs been just performed) in input mode
C + 6                          Bring up special symbols selection window

C + n                          Select next candidate or bring up the next set of choices in conversion mode.
C + p                          Select prior candidate or bring up the previous set of choices in conversion mode.
R & L arrow keys       Work like C + n and C + p. (Probably will not bring up the next or earlier sets of candidates)

C + i                            Shorten the parsed area by 1 character in conversion mode
C + o                           Increase the parsed area by 1 character in conversion mode
 In Mozilla: Shift + Right Arrow key and Shift + Left Arrow Key work like these 2 key combinations also.

C + l                            confirm the selection and commit to the text field without inserting a new line break
ENTER/Return key      Confirm the selection and send it to the Editor with a new line inserted at the end (in Mozilla this may be working like C + l)

C + f                            move the cursor forward in input or selection mode
C + b                           move the cursor backward in input or selection mode
  In Mozilla, Shift + Right Arrow key and Shift + Left Arrow Key work like these 2 key combinations also in selection mode only.

C + e                           move the cursor to the right end in input or selection mode
C + a                           move the cursor to the left end in input or selection mode

C + d                           delete 1 character after the cursor in input mode
C + k                           delete all after the cursor in input mode

F3                                JIS code input (next 1 character only). Input JIS code and 4 character input will change to 1 character.
                                    Enter to change to Kana mode, and Enter again to commit.
