Test Case Description for animated image stability

Purpose

Confirm that animated GIFs continue to animate after an extended period of 24 hours or greater.

Initial Conditions

System under test must be configured to continue normal operation and not "sleep" or power down after an extended period of inactivity.

Steps/Description

  1. Launch Netscape 6
  2. View the test page (linked below)
  3. Leave the browser operating untouched for 24 hours

Expected Results

The image should be animating properly, and at a speed equivalent to that of step #1.
