This part of the Mozilla web site is devoted to the Blackwood Project, started by engineers at Sun Microsystems to better integrate the Java platform with the Mozilla browser. Blackwood is a series of Java-based extensions to Mozilla. 

Blackwood's Mission:
To better integrate the Java platform with the Mozilla browser. The mission of Blackwood is to put Java support in Mozilla on a par with JavaScript support.
