Sophisticated instrumentation of the Mozilla code that allowed a helpful user to provide detailed reports of broken behavior would be a great help in the debugging and development of Mozilla.

The development and advocacy of a useful unit and regression testing framework would go a long way toward setting the stage for a robust and easier to debug Mozilla.
