Joe: status reports twice a day on the N6.1Beta on Solaris + JRE 1.4
     no worky issue.  Work with Stanley, Steve Katz, OJI group to
     resolve problem.  Critical: working build due this Friday.

Jim: Reply to Arun on likelihood of memory leak bug fix making
     it to Netscape 6 soon.  ETA: Friday, 6/22/2001.

Jim: Meet with Chris Hofmann this week to discuss solution to
installer problems.

Xiaobin: Test JRE 1.4 on Win32 with Netscape 6.1Beta.
DONE.  Works, with some LiveConnect problems (as expected).  This
       differs from Solaris N6.1 Beta + JRE 1.4, which crashes upon
       visiting any site that has an applet, whether with LiveConnect
       or not.

Joe: File BugTraq bug against 1.4 Java Plug-In, Bugzilla bug against
     Mozilla for not working on Solaris with 1.4 JPI.

Jim: Report to group by Friday about when escalation can be done for
     Siebel's LiveConnect issues.

George: Tell N6 Solaris release engineering to build on Mozilla 0.9.2
	when it is stable.

Xiaobin: How big is the task of merging our post-0.9.2 LiveConnect
	 patches into the N6.1Beta Solaris source tree, in case we
	 need to hand-patch the build?


Action Items For This Meeting:

* Ed to re-investigate 61233 and see if hide and show shows the document.
NOT DONE; CARRIED OVER.

* Joe to write a document describing why he feels that having a JVM in
  another process is undesirable.  By Friday.
NOT DONE; CARRIED OVER.  No ETA.


* Joe to find out the timeframe from Rich for shipping 6.1 on Solaris.
DONE.  Fix needed for Solaris 9 integration in build 43, end of July.
       This means builds needed before then to go through full QA.
       Working Java in 6.1 Beta needed by Friday, 6/22/2001 to avoid
       massive panic. 


* Xiaobin to start prototyping solution for 77194 with Stanley and
  Nikolay's help.  Should have schedule for when the work will be done
  by next Tuesday.

ETA for a schedule: Thursday, 6/21/2001.

  We need to know:

  1. What changes are necessary on the browser side for 77194.

DONE.  Document sent via email from Xiaobin.  Several pieces of work
       due in Mozilla code, some work necessary in Java Plug-In (for adding
       to class path).


  2. Can the changes from 1 be done without breaking the backward
  compatibility.

DONE.  Answer: yes, no problems.


* Xiaobin to meet with Stanley, Thurs: 3:30pm

* Ed to do survey of bug influx rate
